The world is without end. !!

Inca & Aztec Calendars.

In the light of everything said, this is such an important question. I have read the book The Fingerprints of the Gods. It's a tremendous volume and it covers the Inca and Aztec calendars, both ending on December 25th, 2012. Now, what could it mean? When they talk about the end of the world, as far as the Incas and Aztecs are concerned, they don't mean the end of the world because they have five endings and one of them was Noah's experience with the flood. It didn't end the world. Furthermore, as you know and as I’ve said already, the world is never going to end, Isaiah 45:17 and Ephesians 3:21. So what could it mean?

Oh, I'm excited. In Matthew 1 verse 17 it lists 42 generations from Abraham to Christ. 42. Historically, that covers 2,160 years. Divide 42 into that number and you come out to 51.4 years. What's the countdown? Jerusalem being taken by the Jews, for Jerusalem starts the seven-year period of tribulation, Daniel 9:24. Add 51.4 to 1967 and you come out to 2018. But........ you add the extra six months because it happened in June of '67 and the 4/10 and you come out to 2019 and take away the 7 from that and you come out to 2012.

Could it be on Christmas day Jesus Christ would come at that moment? We don't know the day and hour, Matthew 24:36, but Jesus commands us to know when it's near even at the door.

I'm not dogmatic on this, but could this be the thing that's going to be revealed through the Inca and Aztec's calendars?

Come, Lord Jesus.

Several people have asked this question. You ask about the world, i.e. our home planet Earth, not the human race, all life or a person. The Sun will eventually cool and expand into a red giant star when it has used most of its fuel. Then it is likely to absorb the inner planets. It will certainly burn Earth to a cinder. Minimum estimates for that happening is about 5,000,000,000 years, and it could be longer. People have been predicting the end for centuries. One or more Bible verses indicate that some writers of said book thought the end would come in their lifetimes. That was wrong, like all of the many other such predictions in the past, present and future. Science, not myth, tells when the world ends.

Depends on who you talk to. There was the Millenium rollover -- 2000 or 2001, depending, again, on who's making the observation -- but like the first Millenium rollover in 1000 AD, nada happened, but a lot of people were disappointed and got crazy for a couple centuries after.

Then, of course, there is the Mayan calendar rollover coming up in 2012. Not likely to be a lot happening on that score, either, though if you want to get really distressed you can call that the year of the tipping point for global warming. Up to you how you call that one though. Me, I'm going organic.

Eventually this planet's orbit will slow down enough to be drawn into the sun and then its over. When will that happen? Billions of years from now. However, the human world could end much sooner if we finally decide to nuke one another into oblivion just because we failed to get along and had to prove whose god and social laws are more supreme - or if we continue the unsustainable path of development and clear out all our forests, kill off all other species and permanently pollute our waters.

'Supposed' to end???

I don't know. the many 1000's of predictions that have it already ended must have been wrong (may have been talking about THEir world tho).
I believe that the many 1000's of predictions that we are hearing now and have yet to hear will be just as wrong(or right if they're are talking about thEIr world)

My guess,,, the moment after the "next to the last" moment.
