I have a real problem with labels....what specifically is a borderline personality disorder....I am a counsellor and I have found many medical professionals will diagnose a mental illness by saying you have a borderline personality disorder because they dont know what else to do. People have all sorts of mental health issues and borderline personality disorders, I believe, have affected all of us at sometime in our life. There are drugs that work to help people with mental health issues....have any been prescribed for you.
Borderline Personality Disorder is not something that is very specific and could be caused by numerous things. A mental illness doesnt mean you are crazy and certainly doesnt mean you are going to be like this for the rest of your life.
I dont believe a person just gets a borderline personality disorder....I believe the problems you have suffered have brought about this disorder.....so its the problems you have suffered that need to be dealth with rather than the disorder itself.
I am wondering why you want online counselling, why not face to face?...Has it something to do with your illness? Are you afraid to go outside, or is it just more convenient doing it online?
Counsellors do cost money, and if you are strapped for cash, then your best option is to contact a charity organisation, eg, the Salvation Army or the Samaritans. I used to work for the Salvation Army as a Counsellor, yet I do not follow their particular religion....so they do have qualified, non religious people that will counsel you for free. And these days, most people have computers, so it could be just possible that you will find a counsellor who is prepared to do the on line stuff.
If the problems are causing you so much grief, then ask a particular question on here. You will get some idiots answering, so be prepared....just ignore them. Yahoo goes world wide and Im sure its not just unqualified people who answer questions. Well I am a qualified counsellor and I am answering your question, so who knows, you may get the help you need just by asking a specific question.
Good luck

go to google for chat rooms, but I don't believe there is any free online counseling. your disorder is known as an Axis II disorder, according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual IV (DSM-IV), which means it's a personality disorder; these are generally more "fixed" into defining who we are and is harder to "cure," or change. I really think that if you're having problems, you should actually go to a counselor familiar with this problem. don't play games with it by going online. get the real thing.

If you really have borderline personality disorder, you should get a real counselor. Not free stuff online.
You have a serious mental disorder. Don't take it lightly.

There isn't anywhere that I know of that provides free online counseling. It would be best to find in-person counseling near you. If you have insurance, you can find a provider who accepts it. If not, there are places to get low-cost therapy.
Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) was designed specifically to treat BPD. DBT uses a skills-based approach to teach people how to regulate their emotions, tolerate distress and improve relationships.
Here's a link to read up on BPD and DBT:

Good luck! You deserve help and support.

it will be much more beneficial to you to see a counsellor in person as they are trained to also read body language & facial expressions which can tell a lot about what the patient is experiencing. voice tones can also be an indicator.
start with your doctor
you may need to see a couple fo different therapists before finding the right one for you
but do it NOW

One of the most common questions spouses ask when confronting a marriage crisis is this: How can I save my marriage if my partner doesn't want to help find a solution? How do I succeed I am trying to save my marriage on my own? Learn here https://tr.im/dHbcQ
It is a typical enough story: one partner leaves, the other stays. One remains 'in love', the other is uncertain. Whatever it is that has caused a couple to be apart, the one person who remains bears the prospect, fear, doubt, desire, hope of saving his or her marriage' alone.

not sure online is the best way to go,, there are usually free or low cost clinics in most town ,, it takes a little research and call tag to find them sometimes but one on one, face to face works best.
