Yes. It is still a trial drug in most countries but the results are quite encouraging.

I'm not 100% sure. I'm on Nexium, but I use it for GERD. I have heard that it can be used for ulcer related issues. You should check with your doctor. I did used what was called a Prevpak, when I was diagnosed with the ulcer bacteria. That pack included all sorts of drugs, including Prevacid. However, it Nexium will work for your illness I would recommend Nexium over Prevacid. It's much better.
