I don't have anything against lesbians! Tell me who these bastards are and I'll teach them a lesson.

The only lesbians I have a problem with are the ones who insist on being rude. I live in a hetrosexual community and my daughter is used to seeing her mother and I kissing and holding hands. when she sees two members of the same sex acting like mommy and daddy she is going to point and stare. this is just the way it is.

when the same sex alpha member decides that my daughter is being rude for staring and pointing at something new and different (even though I am trying my best to explain to her that some people think differently about who they are attracted to) and start yelling at me for my daughters behavior I get defensive. then I'm pissed off and start bashing every gay person I meet for the rest of the day.

remember that 98% of the country is hetrosexual and you are still the minority. It wasn't that long ago that communities killed people for being different and I'm not just talking about being gay.

your time isn't fully here yet and I don't know if it ever will be. sorry you are having a rough time with it.

It seems like some lesbians make it a point to go around throwing that fact in everyone's face and trying to "convert people to lesbianism". I don't know if that is true in your case or not but that is a major cause of people's problems with lesbians. I don't go around telling everyone that I am straight. Live and let live.

Here's the deal Adrienne, I am a heterosexual male but I don't advertise it on the internet or go to the "heterosexual male pride" parades or proclaim my sexuality in seventy five percent of my questions on Answers. Most people don't care what your orientation is frankly. But most people also don't want it thrown in their face constantly either. Why do we need to know? We don't! You're a lesbian... fine. But why are you compelled to keep asking questions about your "lesbianess"? Just to make the point you are a lesbian? We don't care. And we don't want to hear about it. Do you want me constantly proclaiming my sexual orientation here? No you don't. Neither does anyone else. Again, the bottom line... nobody cares until it gets rubbed in their face (so to speak).

Those who bash others here should just be ignored.

Why are you inviting further abuse in the forum? You know that is what will happen by posting a question of this nature.
Homosexuality is known by Christians and some others as sin. People get confused or are ignorant. People are supposed to hate sin. They sometimes hate people instead. A similar thing happens with murderers and rapists. People should only hate the murder or rape. Instead people also hate the person who committed the act. Thanks for the two points. Hope you can handle the abuse you've invited. Be smarter about your actions and you can avoid this unnecessary occurrence in the future.

Holy Rollers think that homosexuality is an affront to god. Straight men hate lesbians for not wanting to be with men. Straight women think that it's gross.

That said, plenty of people think that lesbians (and all people) have a right to live their lives without being harassed by morons.

There are immature people on here and some are narrowminded.
Maybe get a cartoon avatar of a girly looking picture and say you want to meet hot women. Without using the "L" word, a lot of idiots wont realise.

Don't worry about whatever the say they are obviously narrow minded and are homophobic assholes. I have absolutely nothing against lesbians infact i respect you for being about to say "this is who i am, you can't change me". I have lesbian friends and i don't feel uncomfortable around them, but i know some ppl are not like me and it is very sad.

People that bash you are just ingnornt. They are people that just don't understand. I am sure some are just mean and you are not their only target. I am straight so I am not sure if I helped at all. But know this, I would never bash you...

If your are happy with who you are then don't worry about what others think or say. I sure there are a few things in life that you do not agree with, so it is really narrow minded of you not to accept that others may feel different about the gay community.
