I want a CD player for my car that I can plug my iPod into (via USB?) instead of actually having to burn MP3's to a CD. Does anyone make this? Makes and models would be nice.

Also, I heard that it is possible to integrate an MP3 player to a standard radio as long as it has a certain input on the back. Instructions?

go with the first answer, the adapter is 44 dollars at sonicelectronix.com and it will charge your ipod while its pluged in and display the track info on the face of the radio. The new pioneers also have cooling fans in the back of them now so it will keep the amp in the head unit cool which will deliver better signal and cleaner power

Almost all of Alpine head units are capable of playing the ipod. I have an alpine head unit (9831) and I had to purchase a special wire to hook it up, but it was definately worth it. I know the new Alpine products are capable but the wire is $30, and is definately worth it. They are also offering great accessories such as bluetooth link to use your head unit as a phone with a bluetooth phone, great amp link ups and just a solid head unit.

You want to get a CD player or amp that has a ⅛" or 3.5mm “line-in” jack.
