I have well water that smells kind of weird and my next door neighbor spends all his spare time hunched over with a little can of poisin he sprays on his grass. For that reason I have a water cooler and they deliver fresh water to the house every month. It's delicious and costs about $5. a big bottle, which I think is worth it.

I suggest you purchase a good filtration system for your home. If you are renting then just try 5 gallon jugs of bottled water delivered to your house.
If you live in an area that gets a decent amount of rain water then try to capture that. If you wash and rinse your hair with rain water, you will be amazed at the difference.

bottled water is good, but you have to make sure it is not SPRING water & that it is labeled DRINKING water & also has been filtered through reverese osmosis. Get a Brita Filter , too, just to use at home. You can also buy a nalgene bottle that you can wash and put your brita water in that to carry with you.It would be cheaper than buying pre-bottled water. You can buy nalgene bottles at any sporting goods store. They are kind of expensive, but will last you forever and can be washed in the dishwasher. Don't drink bottled spring water because it depletes our streambeds and the fish and other creatures that live in it.
