Yes, I am. I hope we are both inspired by the Services today.

No. I stopped going to church 2 years ago when I began to become an atheist.
I must admit that in a certain way I do miss going to church. The people in church were really nice, and unlike some of the stories I hear here, they never harassed me. The stories, though I don't believe in them now, were very interesting in a philosophical and cultural way.

No I don't and why should I ?
I was raised catholic but am an atheist.
Nevertheless I remember being taught that god is everywhere so why would I go to church and hear some guy blabbering about nothing or wanting to impose his views on me, when I can be private at home and have a direct line to god ?

For many years I was not going. I blamed God for my life. I realise that only I can be blamed for my bad decisions. I went to church last night (Saturday) and that is the second time in 3 years. The time before was last Saturday night.
I dont feel like I am getting any better. I need to confess my sins to feel like I am making any progress but that wont happen as no priest are hearing confession anymore.
I was raised a catholic full of guilt. I go because I believe that I will go to hell if I dont.

I commune with nature for my "mass". I was raised Catholic, and have visited several different types of Christian and non-Christian religious services. I always come back to taking a long walk in the woods on Sundays. God created the heavens and the Earth...but man created the buildings we sit in on Sunday. I would rather spend my time in God's country professing my faith.

Yes!!! Going to Church is a commandment and also a holy sacrifice to God. If we don't go to Church God will destroy us forever. Hebrews 10:25-31

nature is my church...so sorry you have to dress up all nice and pretty and sit in a sanctuary for an hour...really, i am. i'm not trying to be anti-religious or anything, i just don't see the point in sitting in a huge room while someone preaches to me when i could be outside and read the Bible on my on time.

No, I don't go to church and I won't tell you why because it's anti-religious.
"This is my simple religion. There is no need for temples there is no need for complicated philosophy. Our own brain, our own heart is our temple; the philosophy is kindness." - Dalai Lama
Is that?
