Actually, yes. There are many examples; here are two: The Albanians and Slavs swept into Greece more than once, and immediately settled down and became Greek (That is, they adopted the language, the religion and cultural practices, intermarried, and became Greek in everything except ancestry). Egypt absorbed countless waves of immigrants, who all then became good Egyptians. Same for China, by the way.

Still, in general, your point tends to be correct.

Depends what you mean by 'disaster'.

When all immigrants came to the U.S. thru Ellis Island,
and most of of ancestors, history and studies have never mention
this as a so called disaster.

What would the States be without our original immigrants?

VERY good point!!!

And I will add that to my MANY other arguments against the ridiculous number of immigrants (most illegal) being allowed to easily live and work in the USA by "our" treasonous government.
