This guy at work clears his throat about 5000 times a day. I'm ready to put a shock collar on him and shock that tourettes right out of him. Too bad it's not fatal.

your words: "too bad it's not fatal"

Wow. I can't believe you just wrote that. My son does 1000 things a day that have the potential to bother me. However, I love him dearly and would not change him for the world. Learn to tune it out. Get to know him as a person. He may surprise you.

It's amazing the junk/garbage that political correctness will tolerate, but a person who has a condition over which they cannot control is not "tolerated". Shame on you.

It is your attitude that is perpetuating the misinformation and bad rap that Tourettes sufferers have. I pray that your future children do not have this or any other disorder.

A lot of things drive me crazy. Learn to tune it out or maybe get some ear plugs or a small radio. Just something to cover up the noise.

It could always be worse.

How do you think he feels, knowing he is clearing his throat and unable to stop himself. I'm sure he's a little bit self conscious about it.

Cut him some slack. He has an incurable neurological disorder whereas you are just being intolerant.

He's sick. I'm sorry that's inconvenient for you, but complaining about him is about as insensitive as complaining about people with cancer.
