Well if ur hair is like oil..and 2 look good u have 2 wash it few times a week..then it is oily. 'Bout the fact that ur skin is oily, ur hair mustn't necessarily b oily 2. I have oily skin and oily hair 2, but u can use a shampoo 4 oily hair and the problem is 'solved.

I think your hair probably oily, since your face is. If you leave your hair down around your face often, then your hair might even be the reason your fave is oily. To tell if your hair is oily look at it in a mirror, how fast during the day does it take for it to look greasy. I have really oily hair, and if I son't shower everyday, it looks greasy. Also, feel your hair, is it straw like, or is it normal feeling, or is it greasy/ wet feeling?

shampoo with a 'regular' (not for oily or dry hair - like paul mitchell daily shampoo) , blow dry to get out most of the water. let dry naturally the rest of the way. wait about 4 or 5 hours. if your hair is stuck to your head it's oily. if it poofs out of control it's dry.
i can tell by the touch. sometimes you can have normal hair with too much protein and it will feel dry; with too much moisture it will feel oily.
research has shown , however , that people with oily hair are more apt to have thin skin , oily skin, break out as a teen (badly), and have THIN HAIR as an adult.

No hair can be either even with oily skin.
Touch your hair for a few seconds...does your hand get more oily than is was prior or not....does it get more dry or not....does it stay the same or not...
More oily hand equals oily hair
More dry hand equals dry hair
Same equals normal hair not dry nor oily

You can recognise whether your hair is greasy as hair looks good for a day after shampooing, but then quickly becomes lank again.
Dry hair is difficult to control after shampooing, looks dull and often has ends that are dry and split. You can have a mix though, like combination skin, the roots of your hair can be greasy and the ends dry.

of course yes, if your skin is oily automaticaly u r hair also oily. to find out the oily hair if u touch the hair u feel greezy.
