everything was perfect in my affair, I was not given a proper answer for the break off. (It's a mystery !!) I thought why this happened to me as a buddhist and answer I got was, I faced it due to the sins I have done in my previous birth. Well when I went in that line I felt helpless, I have no control over my past births. But I am a very honest & a kind hearted person in this birth.

From the little knowlledge I have about Jesus, I have started thinking positively, thinking God wanted me to learn/experience waht I had to face for my future betterment & he has something better in store for me, as the controller of happenings to people. This thought made me relax & get over the sadness I had. (95%)

I do respect way of living in Buddhism, and I follow that. Now I am confused as to what I should believe in. God's wish & to rely on him or to believe buddhism.

The truth is that Jesus Christ is the only way to God. I can't understand why so many people just answer with an attack on Christians or one-liners, surely that's point scoring and I can't understand the benefit of it. However to get back to your question.

You see when God created Man and Women, He also gave them free will. I am a Born-Again-Christian and I don't see myself as religious, but Christianity as a way of life.

You do come across, people, organisations, cults etc. who are specialists at making black look white, and truth look false. Nazis and Communists were cruel and satanically clever. We often underestimate the enormity of Cunning, satanically inspired people.

There is one thing though, you can't brainwash a Born-Again-Christian, because brain washing means to change a persons mind completely and permanently, and make his mind over to be totally dedicated to another, and different way of thinking. Therefore, the tactic is to "break a persons will" which can include, starvation, sleeplessness, brutality, unrelenting beatings, torture with all the fury to "break a man's will".

You see another thing is, sorry if someone has mentioned it already, but it is a valid point, you can go to the graves of all the false religious so-called prophets and their remains are all there, however, if you go to Christs grave, its empty, He Rose from the dead and is alive today. Don't be confused, just let go and let God

I hope that helps you.

I've read all the answers here, and you are probably very confused. Some answer are pointless, some are attacks against Christians, and others just don't make sense. I am a Christian. I believe that you are searching for Truth. Truth is a person; Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the One and Only. I believe that Jehovah God is calling to you. It's up to you to seek His face. If you truly want to know Him, get a Holy Bible to read. If you know any Christians, ask them to speak with you about God. Jesus says that you cannot serve two masters because you will hate one and love the other. You have to decide if you want to continue as a Buddist or to be saved and become a follower of Christ. Please feel free to email me with any questions. I'll be praying for you.

God bless you!

since my original posting, some very good answers have been posted. Just wanted to clarify that.

There is only one God and buddhism is as true a way to realize this as any. There is nothing wrong with following the teachings of Jesus they too are a good way to grow in spirit. Do not how ever confuse cristianity with following the teachings of Jesus. In many ways christianity does not follow Jesus' true teachings.

Christianity has become spiritually dead in many ways because it teaches conflict rather than unity.

Jesus taught the unity and oneness of all of creation. One can still see this if they read the New Testament. A great effort has been made by so-called Christianity to cover up this truth that he tried to show us, but it still shows through the nonsense that has been written over it.

By ignoring Jesus' message of inclusion for all men, So-called Christians have become an elitist group that sees its self as the one true and correct way to God. From this vantage point they judge all others as less than worthy and imagine that Their God does the same.

This is in practice the exact opposite of Jesus' message that he left for us, and could in many ways be thought of as the antichrist that they so often talk about.

What makes you think that it was God who wanted you to learn? Maybe it was you who wanted you to learn. Or maybe you were influenced by something or someone that motivated you to learn.

Anyway, just because you believe in Buddhist ideas, it doesn't make you a Buddhist.

In a respectful and friendly way I suggest that you direct your thoughts toward your tangible life and don't bother attaching to ideas and labels of any type. This way you can get answers and guidance from the most reliable source-yourself.

The answer is what you are looking for is that God is now working in your life and wants to Save you. This is great news, what you have to do is give your life to Jesus Christ, put your trust in Him and the Holy Spirir will reveal everything to you.

Jesus said, "I am the way the truth and the life", He can do anything, as long as you are sincere and honest with Him, He will guide you into the Truth and your reward, Eternal Life in Heaven with The Lord Jesus Christ.

What is happening in the world today, was prophisied in the Bible by Christ and the Prophets. Remember, you can go to the graves of Buddha, Mohammed and all the other false prophets, cults and sects, and dig up all their remains, but go to the Tomb of Christ and it's empty, Why?.......Because He Rose From The Dead.

Don't be confused by what satan throws at you, just keep your eyes on Jesus and Pray for strength and guidance. He won't let you down. I understand your sadness, I was very depressed before I knew Christ and tried to end my life, but Jesus Saved me.

I suggest you take your Buddhist background and apply all the positives of good living to Christianity. Some Christains will tell you to leave everything behind but you need to be grounded to something in the past. You will have to leave some things behind, but at least take the positives and keep them while being Christian. I think it's possible. Perhaps leave behind some beliefs like reincarnation if you don't believe it, but still take the lifestyle.

You can't serve two masters. Obey God by believing God is Jesus who died for you sins and God raised Jesus from the dead on the third day and you will be cleansed from your sins and saved from God. This is the Gospel and the only path to God from your sins. Buddhism will not save you from your sins against God. God has provided the sacrifice for your sins in Jesus: the death of man not animals to take away your sins. Now God wants to declare you righteous by His power and then yours. Let God empower you and really enlighten you!!! Then God will credit your faith and works by His Power and then yours as righteousness. If you are not righteous before God by His Way He has provided you will be in your sins and lost forever. Get filled with God's Holy Spirit and speak in other tongues. Please pray to God above for an answer. I'm sure he will.

Find a Christian pastor or friend to talk to.

Just to correct you, God does not control happenings, he does control everything, and by his will things happen,

but he does not control what people do.

So, have you decided on what you should do yet? Do not use logic to decide. Use your heart, because in all relationships, you have to use your faith.

God is a jealous God, he wants you to believe in one God only. Don't take my word for it though. You will realise that you can only have one God. Can a servant have two masters?

u know 20ys ago that's how i found Jesus. my gfriend broke with me & gave no reason, in despair i turn to my christian housemate who i notice was unlike the other housemate or my regular friend. there was just this peace & loving & forgiving nature in him. he brought me to his church & the sermon that day, & i mean like, very word was like jumping out on me. i gave my life to Jesus that day & a unexplainable peace come over me like assuring me i going be alright. that day on i start praying & each time i turn to the bible , words jump out at me which previous look ordinary. become like a manual for every situation at anytime. boy! so exciting. since i found only Jesus offer relationship & intimacy we all are create to crave & be fulfill by. think the other world religon & their leader, all they is come up with a set of laws & leave you manage & work it faithfully on your own. Jesus says He will always be with you, He says he send the Holy Spirit to be with you as a helper & guide, He the only one that say "i want to be your friend" which is what i needed most that heart broken times. & lastly i still need Him now. you sound like a wonderful person. be blessed & hope u find JC, God bless & peace, lady

I think Buddhism is the best religion for you in this case. Stick to the Four Noble Truths and the Noble Eightfold Path and it can practically help you, where as Christianity can only offer lies about some Sky Daddy.
