Buy a guitar pickup made for an acoustic.
Or just cheat and securely attach a lavalier microphone with a windscreen inside the body of the guitar. But watch out for the nasty feedback if you turn it up too loud.

It may not sound the same as an actual electric guitar, but it can be amplified with an acoustical guitar pickup.
