It sucks. I like this guy at my college & he doesnt even know it. I am scared to tell him because I don't think I am his type. He is so nice & beautiful. He calls me his partner. We don't talk that much, but whenever we see eachother we always greet. He has tried to have a coversation with me, but I always come up with some lame excuse. I know he thinks I am weird. He is probably nice because he feels sorry for me. I am just so scared to get to know him. Oh well thats why its called a crush. It hurts & it never works.

Talk to him already

It sounds like he is trying to talk to you. Things won't be able to progress if you never give them a chance.

Next time you see him, why don't you suggest you go for coffee. Dont' think of it as a date, instead come up with something you'd like to ask him some questions about and say "why don't we discuss it over coffee (or a pop, etc.)"

You could also ask him for his e-mail address and start e-mailing him.

You don't have to confess all your feelings to him immeadiately but you could show some interest in other ways.

Sounds like you are interested. What do you know about him? Do you have similar interests? You know he's handsome and nice. Cool.
One of the secrets to talking to people is asking questions. It takes the focus off of you and it flatters the other person.
Start asking him about himself. Who doesn't like to talk about themselves? He'll perceive you as smart and you will find out if you actually have anything in common.
Don't worry about asking the wrong question either. If you are expressing genuine interest in him and he attempts to make you feel stupid, he's a jerk.. . . . .and you shouldn't waste any more time thinking about him.
Quit worrying about what he thinks! It's what you think that is important. Information is power! Start picking peoples' brains! Remember, it takes the focus and pressure off of you! HAVE FUN!!

Being a guy myself, it would be great to know when somebody such as yourself is interested in me because I might be having the same apprehensions that you are and am just as afraid to tell you as you are to tell me. If you don't try the answer is definatly "no", if you do try at least there are other options on the table. Good Luck!

Perhaps you can try to find out how he feels about you in a less direct way, like asking someone you both know well enough what s/he thinks. A bystander can see things more clearly, so s/he can better understand how he feels about you. Good luck!

Poor you -- it is ALL about you. It sounds like this guy is trying to like you and spend some time with you. Why not suggest coffe with him, or go along with a nice conversation.

I used to be a lot like you. I overcame it finally by learning to love myself. I believe that I could not learn to really love another until I learned to love myself.

My journey to self love was through Al-Anlon (www.al-anon.org) but there are other avenues.

Good Luck

Do you have any classes together? Ask him if he needs a study partner and see what happens.... but mind those grades.

Don't be afaird to tell him, he might like you too, it's worth a try if he doesn't like you, you can still be friends, don't be shy just say it, it would be even worse if he never knew and he liked you too, so just say it.

Good luck!

Why not relax and then ask him to go on a date - maybe doing something fun so that you can forget how nervous you are!
