bake a cake or buy a present and hold it up to him then wake him up and say HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

Confetti (make your own if none is available by cutting up pieces of junk mail or colored paper if you have it..a shreadder will make it easier) and a birthday horn. Blow the horn, throw the confetti and sing happy birthday while doing a wild and crazy dance. Act silly. Kids love to see their parents acting silly. Its quick, simply and he will be a great start to his special day.

With a huge birthday cake and the whole family around him singing happy birthday. and start the day with him having desert. Don't forget the balloons!

Put a piece of his favorite cake right under his nose for him to smell it and therefore wake him up.

let him sleep if it is his b-day. then make him what ever he wants for his breakfast, then do what ever he wants for the rest of the day
