genetics can be a pain. I had yellow teeth and a lot of family members had that too. I used the professional strength Crest Whitestrips that you can only buy at a dental office (this stuff is stronger than the ones you buy in the store) and it worked. My teeth aren't super duper white but they are nicer than they used to be, that's for sure.

If your teeth are getting yellower, could it be because you are drinking coffee, tea and/or colas? Smoking also discolors your teeth. If they are decayed and turning yellow, talk to your dentist!

The color of your teeth aren't the most important thing, as is the shape/condition or your teeth and gums. The most important thing is to make sure your teeth are not decayed and that your gums are healthy coral pink in color that do not bleed when brushing and flossing and you go in to the dental office twice a year at least for regular maint. appointments. After these issues are taken care of, then the cosmetic issues can be addressed.

No offense, but your friends aren't true friends if they joke on you for having white teeth. They are obviously jealous of you. White teeth is what most people want these days, notice all the whitening toothpastes and white strips out there? You should get some confidence and flash a great white smile at all of them while they cringe with jealousy!!

My dentist told me those whiting tooth pastes are a fraud. They don't work but those Colgate strips do work. Also Rembrandt. They are about 30 bucks but they are just as good as what you will pay at the dentist's office. My dentist came right out and told me that he feels like he is ripping people off by bleaching their teeth. The stuff you can buy at Walgreen's is almost as strong as what he uses. Also I like "plus white".

I use Crest White Strips. You put apply them to your teeth twice a day for 2 weeks, that usually gets them sparkling white. I also recommend using whitening toothpaste on a regular basis to maintain the whiteness. And if you smoke, stop.

Brush twice a day and use mouth wash. if thats not working then it might be tooth decay, which could turn into cavities. also, don't drink tea or coffee for sometime, those stain your teeth. any caffine does actually. just brush and you should be fine.

rinse every few days with a 50/50% solution of hydrogen peroxide and water. if you read the bottle, they recommend this. i did and noticed results after just 2 times. it does leave a bad taste in your mouth, so use it before brushing, then use mouthwash.

all of the tooth whiteners on the market are peroxide based, thats not going to hurt you, your dentist can do it for you but it will cost about ten times what it does to do it yourself.
