my webcam comes up...i think..i mean i can see myself so im assuming its working.

You will need to allow ActiveX to run. Control Panel in My Computer. Then Internet Options and Security and finally Custom Setting.

You will need to allow ActiveX to run. Control Panel in My Computer. Then Internet Options and Security and finally Custom Setting.

I recommend you select "Prompt" rather than Enable. That way you will be asked first if you want to install the Active X rather than it happening automatically. That way you can say no if you didn't expect it to happen on some unknown web page.

usually your comp will offer to DL ActiveX for you and tells you to restart computer.. you may also have to go into add hardware/software and see if cam shows there as well but again, your comp SHOULD do that automatically for you, if not control panel and Add New..

That has to do with your browser settings try to change that. if you don't have activeX install it.
