It's best to shampoo every other day. It also might help to use a hair recovery kit once a month, like: VO5 Total Hair Recovery. This restores your hairs moisture.

I was going thru a temporary problem with some hair falling out and when I went to a hair specialist one thing they did inform me of was to wash my hair every day. I had been afraid too because it seemed the more I washed the more it came out in the shower. I started following their advise and used much better shampoo (at that time) and now my hair has all regrown. I have hair down past my shoulders and the new growth has almost caught up but I basically now wash every day with a decent shampoo and conditioner - and I'm not losing hair no more :-)

No, you're able to no longer wash your hair every day as you would be removing the organic oils your hair needs to stay healthful, i exploit Johnson and Johnson toddler shampoo with camomile, which makes the hair lighter and it works a manage, i do no longer use conditioner in any respect, i've got consistently stumbled on it to be abit of a con yet some hair varieties do want it, my hairdresser noted how delicate and silky my hair became and became bowled over to study i do no longer use a conditioner, my hair is incredibly long and since the shampoo is gentle (gentle sufficient for a wee toddlers head, hee hee) I could use it each and every 2 days yet i do no longer could use it every day and it dosn't have a number of the unnessary chemical components/ingrediants in it which you come across in a number of the greater many times occurring branded shampoos, which incorporate organic essences, which has a tendency to go away a bad invisable residue hint contained in the scalp thats no longer best for you, as long as your shampoo/conditioner works shop doing what you're doing yet once you are able to attempt to dodge washing it conventional!

no...
not everyone can shampoo their hair EVERYDAY...
it dryes some peoples hair out!!
BUT YOUR STATEMENT UP THERE IS FALSE
BIGGGG TIME FALSE!!
ACTUALLY WHEN YOU DO WASH YOUR HAIR YOU SHOULD WASH IT TWICE...B/C THE FIRST TIME YEA SURE YOU CLEAN IT.....BUT FOR THE MOST PART ALL YOU DID WAS BREAK UP THE DIRT & CHEMICALS THAT HAVE BUILT UP IN YOU HAIR ALL DAY....
NOW WHEN U SHAMPOO...MAKE SURE YOUR NOT USEING A SHAMPOO THAT HAS ALCOHOL IN IT.....
[[juss simply loook at the ingredents to find out]]
also some people try to say they cant use conditioners because it makes their hair oily...welll thats FALSE TOO!!!
if you think a conditioner is makin your hair oily then try using a liter conditioner....but everyone really should use a conditioner...
BECAUSE a conditioner put moisture back into your hair that you've lost thru out the day...
---from either blowdrying...straightening...curling...ne other hair products or jus the sun!!
yes...if u use the wrong types of shampoos or conditioners yes...it can damage your hair...
but if your smart about it...& pay close attention
then you hair is jus fine
even since u have slightly curly hair..i would reconment using Biosilk...it makes you hair shinny healthy & cutz down on frizz...& also helps hold moisture in you hair
[[when you've lost alot of moisture out of your hair....your hair can tend to me damaged...broken...split ends...or jus fried!]]

There is nothing wrong with washing your hair everyday. Note* you can shower with out washing your hair.*
Yes it is true that washing your hair everyday strips it of its natural oils. It also depends on your hair type. If your hair is naturaly oily then you need to wash it everyday cause if you only wash it 2 times a week its going to be all stringy and nasty. You dont have to wash it everyday but its not going to hurt you if you do. I wash mine everyday.

no,no,no You only need to shampoo once every 2/3 days, your scalp and hair produce natural oils, to keep the moisture in. If you shampoo too much your scalp will dry out causing dandruff

Depends on how harsh your shampoo is. Johnson's baby shampoo can be used every day with no harmful effects. Tide, on the other hand, might be too harsh. Regular shampoos will fall somewhere in between those extremes.
'nuff said?

It all depends on your hair texture. If your hair is usually dry, using shampoo is not a wise choice as if would wash away the moisture on your scalp that you desperately need.

If you use product (hair gel, etc) on your hair, you need to shampoo it out every day or else it will smell and flake. Otherwise, I guess you only need to shower as often as required to keep you from stinking.
