but, he lives 1,228.2 miles away. I wonder if how he looks and if I'll ever get to be with him. We have talked on the phone and exchanged letters and chat daily in I-M. Anyone going through this same thing?

Yes I have .. especially when my husband was deployed in Afghanistan for a year. Keep the communication up.. treasure the little moments you have and I hope one day you two will be together.

You might just be missing him a lot and you're now wishing to be with him though you know that that wish wound not come true as of now. It's normal for women to miss the loves of their lives more especially when distance keeps them from being together.
Don't let depression though to set in to your system because it may affect your health negatively. Just excitingly and eagerly wait for your seeing each other again. And that would be one of the hapiiest days of your lives.

I know just how you feel Trisha, my wife lives 6000km away. We chat via msn nearly every night and I do miss her so much. We wont get to be together untill Feb. next year. Hang in there honey everything will work out in time.
