Usually red blood in your bowel actions does NOT indicate a stomach ulcer. Stomach ulcers are associated with _digested_blood_ in the bowel actions.

You would do best to attend your doctor and have them examine you. If they think you might have a stomach ulcer then they would arrange for an endoscopy test (telescope test to look down your gullet and inside your stomach). They should also arrange for some medications for the interim.

Have a look at the wiki page

Are you taking asprin? That will cause stomach ulcers.
If your stool has blood in it that is not normal, nor are the sharp pains in your stomach.
If you feel dizzy or think you might pass out, sit on the floor with the phone and call someone to help you or 911.
Your symptoms are not normal and you need to be checked out by a doctor asap.

I've had and still have ulcers. I bleeding ulcer feels like someone sticking you in the mid-back with a knife. If there is "red" blood that may or may not be a sign. Usually old black blood passes through your system. I would suggest seeing a doctor, not asking for a dx on YA
