So I have a very close personal friend who is far away from me right now until I move back to the area in January. We haven't seen eachother in 6 years and a lot has changed and what not but we've still remained close. I have feelings for him and he's always pulling the honey, baby, sweetheart kissy kissy puff puff crap (okay not ALWAYS but the pet names yes all the time) telling me how cute and awesome I am. BLAH blah blah. We've mutually opened up about a lot of things and he often calls me for no real reason "Hi, can't talk but wanted to tell you I'm not going to the BBQ" "Hi, this oven doesn't have a preheat beeper what should I do?" and then he'll want to stay on the phone when I say I have to go. So then he tells me about some girl he's going to go hump just for the sex. And making comments like what if I don't remember to do things at the right time? HELLO?? Do you know how bad that hurt to hear?? WHY on earth would he say something like that? He says jealousy isn't it so what is?

he's too proud to tell you he's jealous. it's hard on a guys ego. he's trying to gage your reaction. i suggest you talk to him like you are right here. if you don't tell someone how you feel how will they ever know?

b4 you talk to him remember he's already annoyin gyou a little, regardless of the reasoning, and it has been six yrs like you said so it's like you have to get to know him in person all over again. you both have changed so much. you could tell him, he'll say oh i didn't really have anyone else i just wanted you. is that what you really want out of this either?? maybe it's best left unsaid. see where things go when you get together. may be easier to judge.

It's just a load of hot air in your ears because you listen to him and don't hang-up and finish this idiotic relation and likewise for us to read this nonesense and react to it. Grow up and find another sensible bf.

he is a man they do things like this... they are the most confusing creatures God made. You prob should be blunt with him and say how you feel and try to have a conversation about it.

that's it exactly
he feels a strong bond of friendship with you.
being a friend means he has lowered his guard with you. he feels comfortable saying anything that enters his head.
if he oversteps your boundaries you should educate him where those boundaries are.

Sounds like he wants you. You should ask him that question.
