Dark Corn Syrup, Light Corn Syrup, King Syrup and Light Molasess are all interchangable. Light corn syrup is glucose.
All-purpose is plain flour. Self rising has salt and rising agents in it.

all purpose flour is just plain old flour. like the flour you use for any other recipe.

ask for the dark corn syrup, if you don't have any you can just use light corn syrup..the only difference is that dark corn syrup adds more flavor to the item you are making, because dark corn syrup is just light corn syrup with a type of molasses in it. it just gives it a more assertive flavor.

Plain flour. Not sure about the other as we don't have corn syrup in Australia.

All purpose flour is plain flour, baking soda or baking powder is needed for anything used with it to rise, no salt is in the mix. Duh dark corn syrup is dark where light cxorn syrup is light. It is based on the color of the sugar cane used in the final stage of processing.
