if you value your friendship with her then let it be just that, It sound like she only wants to be friends. But do go out, meet people, put a little distance between the two of you. Give yourself time to get over these feelings. Try to find a female that will return the feelings. One sided feelings never feel good. Happy Late Birthday!!!!

Shes being a friend that means more to her than getting involved an breaking up and losing you for ever. Friends last a life time lovers come and go.Try think of her as a very special friend respect what she wants, dont let your feelings get in the way of friends.

As this girl has told you that she feels more comfortable being friends why not just leave it at that. Its a shame that you want it to be more than friendship but it has to be a two way street for it to be more. Just accept her for this and try to move on. I know it may be difficult for you but im sure as time goes on you will be ok.

Move on...seek greener pastures. This chick will now you use as a sounding board to talk about another guys. Next time sneak in a kiss on the lips faster, a grab around the waist sooner...you have made it into the friendship zone. Good luck, but I see many nights working on her scrapbooks and checking out chick magazines.

You need to respect the fact she does not want a sexual relation -ship with you. If you try to push it the friendship will be gone. Start thinking of her as "only a friend" and tell your self over and over theres not going to be anything sexual between you two.

Well you still have feelings for her even though she wants to move on, and that is one of the toughest things in a relationship. You have to respect her feeling as much as it may hurt, but introduce yourself to other girls, hang out with you friends, do ANYTHING to take your mind of of her. I don't mean to completely ignore her, still be friends, but in a while this girl will be a speck in your memories! =]

The advice is to move on to someone else. There are plenty of fish in the sea. And no, you do not need to get laid - not before you're married, ever.

One more thought - you sound very needy to me and that is not good.

Perhaps she needs more time.
If it was meant to be it will happen for the two of you. The time is not yet there for her to realize this. Be patient. If it was not meant to be there is something to be learned. Sometimes we love someone who was not meant to be our soul mates.
Good Luck to you. Hey do not forget to smile.
