I wouldn't mind an automatic one, but a manual one will do.

Go to the Chemist or try Mothercare shops (for UK users, translation for American uses, go to drug store or shop the sells baby and children products)

In the children's section of a chemist should have a pill crusher. I have seen 'manual' ones where you place the pills in a small jar where you screw the 'lid' on and as you screw the lid on it crushes the tablets till you are left with power.

May I ask what for?

Really you shouldn't alter any medication without consulting your Dr & Pharmacist. Crushing it alters the rate at which your body absorbs the medication and only a pharmacist is really licensed to alter anything like that as it can *possibly* have diverse effects eg. on organs like the liver depending on the medication livers can only absorb certain things safely if they break down slowley rather than it all hitting it at the same time.

If the medication is for anyone but yourself your risking liability for any adverse reactions as you have ultimately changed the components of the medication. If it is for yourself you should definitely seek proffesional advice.

As for actually crushing it, why not just use two spoons?

**I just wanted to add if your having that much trouble most medications are available in a liquid form if you ask nicely ;-)

Why don't you just use a pair of pliers/pincers in a plastic bag?
