Do you agree with this saying or do you think that it makes you weaker b/c you've had so many knock backs in life that you become withdrawn or feel less of a person.

I personally think it makes you stronger as you learn from your mistakes and are able to make better judgements and decisions in the future based on past experience.

Depends on the person. If you learn from your mistakes then it should make you stronger. If you keep doing the same things over and over with the same result then it will make you weak. Its all in the person. The best thing is to learn from others mistakes to become stronger without being knocked down at all.

I agree with the saying and for the same reasons as you. To make all struggles positive, you can always learn from them. Sun Tzu the author of The Art Of War, is the originator of this saying.

I used to think that to. But now I think that somethings just beat a guy down until there is nothing left. I would like to see you answer the question in 20 years.

yup it sure does, its some sour medicine but it makes you stronger no doubt, it teaches you how to get back up again when you think you've reached your lowest point, but aslong as you keep your head up theres always a way,

so...yes it makes you stronger.

i believe it makes you stronger and there is a school for that it is called the school of hard knocks.
