More hate, more division, more self-righteousness, less tolerance. The more "organized" religion gets, the more dangerous it is becoming. That sucks, because the root of it all so beautiful, no? Us humans ruin anything we get our grubby little hands on!

Are you sure that you don't mix up civilization and culture? Civilization is the building of cities. Human culture and religion are much, much older. Haven't you ever seen the cave pictures from the ice age in France and Spain?
Let's rather work for our decendants to have a planet left than worry about what their religion might be. I hope they find their way back to happy paganism and ancestor worship.

Well since christian religion is the dominant force it probably will be just that. Not many people understand anything other than that. Most feel paganism in a devil worshipping thing when in reality it's not.
