If God's word is his will - then we can know God by going to the bible and studying it.

To know God - who made the heavens and the earth - what a concept. To become saved, made whole - and have a relationship with our loving heavenly father! It doesn't get any better than that.

And I really don't care if you don't agree with me. You can't change truth with some stupid sayings (like most of the postings on this site.) I am thankful for people who have an inteligent response to some of these questions - especially those who are seeking to know the truth.

God bless you!

Absolutely. The Bible clearly defines God's will for us. The Bible shows us the true character of God. His word is powerful, it never returns void. It has life, healing, and wisdom, should I continue?

I know that the books which make up the bible are filled with the "instructions" we as humans need to help us in our life spiritually and in the things which matter the most. There is no other book which exists that has these instructions, rules commandments, or teachings. The words are Holy for they transcend ordinary human experience. The Bible is the inspired word of God, (the Judeo-Christian one). Therefore you can say that it comes from His will. May we continue to grow in the knowledge of our Lord, Jesus the anointed savior, the messiah

I do not belive in what is written in Modern Bible as it had been changed and re-written at least 20 times by different people..

Initially it is supposed to be word and will of God. What it reflects now looks like fairy tales based not on a true story...

Your question rather sneakily assumes, as a premise, that the Bible is the word of God.

Since I disagree with that, I disagree with the entire statement.

I believe that the Bible is the word of men who thought they knew how the world was created, thought they knew how to explain things that had happened in history, thought they knew what God wanted and how God felt about things...and thought they could use this collection of stories to control other people.

Guess it worked on some. Not me.

I don't believe the bible IS the word of god, in the first place. I don't actually even believe there is a god to begin with.

It's all hear say. I believe in god but I don't read the bible. Other people wrote that thing and have "revised" it. So it is other peoples perception of what god may or may not want!!

Are you asking or telling? The Bible is the word of men who claim that it is the word of God. Who knows? What's important though... what is in your heart or what is in a transcribed, retranslated 2500 year old text?

You figure it out. You don't need my opinion.
