No. Or, at least, rare enough that I've never heard of it. The humping you see is dominance, and even females do it to males. (Much to my embarrassment when I brought my female over to a friend's house.)

No, It is not built into them. Unlike humans, they go by the instinct that the were born to, which is male>female, never male>male. See animals cant reason as well as humans, so many behaviors exhibited by humans, an animal could never. So in other words no, a dog can't be gay.

Yes, scientists have known about homosexual animals but have refrained from reporting their findings because of politics. Many animals observed, birds, dogs, primates, etc have exhibited gay and or lesbian mating behaviors and incidents do not appear to be uncommon.

Can read this article from the national geographic:

These answers are just way too funny and so was the question anyhow, my dogs are all females and they do the cat, each other, and one of them will do a leg and she is a female dog so I guess you would call her Trisexual, lesbian,Bi,Straight, does her daughter which is only 5 mths old...so I guess she a sex offender too!!! and not to mention why I'm at it a nympho...LMAO

I'm so blown away from what I come across....LOL

Yes and no. There is no clear-cut answer for that one.
Some animals have been observed in homosexual acts, but, is it because they are gay? I'm not sure.
There are other reasons out there...dominance, desperation, etc. I recommend reading the article I attached.

Don't listen to everyone who is telling you no. We have a homosexual dog in my house and he takes advantage of our other dog. He always licks his d*** and s*** like that. I know it's natural for dogs to sniff a***es. But d*** licking is a diffinate trait of homosexuality in dogs.
