I grew up in a small California town I was one of only a handful of white kids in my school. The rest were Mexican. What I found growing up in this enviornment was that almost all of the kids were from good hard working families. These kids were my friends. I was rarely picked on for being white, and when I was, all manner of hell broke lose from the majority of Mexican kids defending me. I loved the kids I grew up with. Also, my best friend all of my adult life has been black. I am no racist! I am anti ILLEGAL immigration..not anti immigration! Why can't people see the difference. One is legal..One is not! I abhor law breakers. I do not abhor any one race! I am the DAUGHTER of Irish immigrants. They came to this country legally..they taught me to be an American patriot.

Agnela. There have been several posts today calling us (by "us" I mean people that do not support illegal immigration) racists.

They do it on purpose. Anyone who is anti criminal is a racist to them. Some of them don't even know the true meaning of the word. Don't let them get to you. I feel the same way that you do. I get hate mail every day and people accuse me of this but it doesn't bother me. They are trying to make you change your opinions and beliefs. You are entitled to feel the way that you want to feel. Just grow a thick skin to it. Stick to your guns.

It's really not that simple, when illegal aliens are encouraged to come and work for wages that legal Americans don't want, it makes the illegals an accepted part of society. For all of you that think that statement is not true, it's a fact that the laws that make them illegal are not enforced by the current administration. It's a fact that the department that was created to enforce those laws was cut to the bone by the current administration. It's a fact that employers that hire these illegals are not procecuted, and have no incentive not to hire these illlegals. Clearly they are being accepted into our society. The laws are not in line with policy.

Well, the your description sure sounded like you were. Didn't you in fact call yourself one!
There is way too much being made of illegals when we have much more pressing issues in the world!
The Republicans aren't worried about it because they are caught between a rock and a hard place! paleoRebublicans like you are against illegals, yet the other half of the republicans aren't! That's because they need the slave labor!! That is why nothing is done, and by the time a new session starts Republicans will no longer control the Senate!
What's a patriot to you? Join the Army, not some racist group!

I hear what you're saying. Just because we don't go with what the politically correct opinion is, then we're all these bad things. Hell, tell these people to kiss your a**, as long as you know the truth that's all that matters. All these other people they're confused and misled and looking for approval, so why do you need their validation? Believe in what you believe in.

I've noticed that a lot of morons who support illegal immigration do so by asking the rhetorical question "aren't we all immigrants" thus completely missing the point.

You must be out of your mind if you think anyone here finds your views on immigration unique or difficult to understand. You are not the only person who feels that way, and I'm sure that everyone here is capable of distinguishing between ILLEGAL and LEGAL, thank you. So what's your question, or are you just ranting AGAIN? Nice posting history - were you aware that posting to "vent your frustrations" is against YA's Community Guidelines? Do it somewhere else.

i dont see it either alex
... oh ok ... well there has to be said that they are looking for a better life ya know... uhhh well, you know it takes quite a bit of money to get into the states ...you have to show sustance or watever its called ... which basically means you need 30000$ in a bank account ... own a home, or own a buisness ... you have to show some reason you will return if you are issued a visa ... so the majority of dirt-poor immigrants just could never do it .. not saying its right, but i dont blame them for wanting to make alittle cheddar either.

Great question. Why can't they see the differences? I see the differences, but I seriously doubt you will get a good answer from those that support illegal aliens. They say they are human and want a better life (regardless that they broke the law to get it). I say, Americans deserve a better life and a government that actually listens to its constituents.

They resort to calling you a racist because they have no other response and they call you racist because they are the real racists and are using your sense of justice against you. They know they are breaking the law they just don't carte.
