I mean, is there any difference between acquiring strenght and muscular mass when working out? How do you get one or the other?

Maybe you want to know the difference between strength and stamina, as the muscular mass is almost the same as acquiring strength. You'll get strength by acquiring the muscular mass and it would be through weight lifting and other weight exercise.

But on stamina, you'll last longer on everything you do and still in good mind to do it; and patience in exercise without weight lifts will do the job.

if your going for strength its best to lift close to your max.. if you just want to look "cut" and fit, then its better to lower the amount of weight and go with higher repetitions
