VGA usually means 640x480 lines of resolution, which is only 0.3 megapixel.
One megapixel is sufficient for pictures that you only intend to view on your screen, but it's not enough to make prints.
For prints, you'll want at least 3 megapixels.

picasa is a Google's photo software. It's what should've come with your camera.

It can Edit , organise and Share you picture and small video flips.

It's very easy to use and is free, just like Google
