I am not sure if there is any rule to an age limit. I know My husband and I did an open adoption 2 years ago and we were both in our early to mid-twenty's. So, even though I am not sure about your age. I can tell you a little about what I learned. In our situation, we hired a lawyer who worked with adoptions. I called several AA's before making my decision on the lawyer. We started paper work, then we had to have a social worker come to our home, and what is called a home study. They come and see the environmet you would be bringing a child into. They have the right to check anything they want. Also you and your hubby would have to be home. Because, there are a series of questions they ask. They ask about your background.. and many, many other details about your life. I would say it would hurt to try. As long as they can see you can support the child and give it a stable home. There shouldnt be too many problems. If you have any other question's, you can e-mail me. I will do my best to answer any quetions you have. Good Luck

There are age limits. Usually they do not want a couple that is too old. It varies by state and it also varies greatly by country. They'll also look at how long you've been married. If you've not been married for a certain amount of time they will often deny adoption because they do not feel you are yet stable. But again, it varies from state to state and country to country.

What do you mean the age requirement, you just have to be 21 to adopt. Foster parents are very well needed the government would be more than glad to provide a child with a home!

Hmm Not sure but how old are you and your husband and what are you told the age is to adopt a child is where you live? I would think if you are both of legal age in your state then you should be allowed to adopt a child.

you haven't any longer any top whatsoever to declare something to her approximately this remember. This toddler is hers. Her determination, her decision. If she desires to abort, extra ability to her. while you're fairly her buddy, you will no longer say something to her to coerce her into having this toddler (which if she has uterine abnormalities might desire to be risky to her, no?) for you. She would not owe you a sprint one. in case you do undertake her toddler, you do comprehend that this might in all risk end your friendship? i understand you think of you could safeguard it now, yet think of the soreness that she might bypass by using each time she hears you communicate with regard to the toddler which you will call your individual? do no longer discourage the abortion. She is your buddy, and he or she desires you to help what she does, no longer coerce her into doing what you think of is physically powerful. no remember how lots you communicate along with her on the subject, you haven't any longer any theory what she is going by using. bypass away her on my own with regard to the adoption. It would not be solid for her or the toddler. If this toddler is born, she might desire to be the single to maintain it. There are places to help her out.
