Im 17 years old and a senior at a different school than my boyfriend ( who is also the same age). we have been going out for about 5 month and our schools are starting in less than a week. the other night i got in a fight with my parents dealing somewhat with him and they grounded me for 2 weeks no t.v. computer, or telephone. me and my boyfriend have been up and down for our 5 months together and recently its been perfect but im just worried he will loose interest in me for not seeing me for a while and talking to other girls at his school. am i over reacting? please give advice i would really appreciate it thanks!

Okay let me give you a reality check. In five years it is doubtful you will even know this guy, so let's not pretend this is a really serious relationship. Furthermore if a two week break is going to destroy your relationship it was no good to begin with.

If he lose interest that easy, then he was playing the field while he was talking to you. Don't worry about that, you should be worrying about the semester in school and what college your going to go to! See boys are going to be around for a long time but make good grade and pick the right college don't last forever. Sweetie it only been five months, don't get your hopes up high. You should be dating and seeing what type of boys you like( when I say dating, I don't mean open your legs to every Tom, Dick and Harry) And, if your grounded and your parents said" NO T.V. TELEPHONE & COMPUTER" why, you on yahoo's answer? are you trying to add another week? Listen to your parents and be on your best behavior just maybe you get of punishment earlier. School first and Boys last.

It may be cliche, but if he likes you, then two weeks or three weeks wont erase feelings. I have been gone from my girlfriend for many weeks now and we talk on the phone (we are doing the long distance thing for a little while) and I know she cares about me enough to the point where she will do what she must to keep this relationship going. If he feels that way, he will do anything he can, and sometimes that means waiting until you fulfil your "jail time".
Sorry to hear about your situation. trust me, he will stick around. For a guy, 2-3 weeks is nothing. Best of luck for you two!!!

if it does ruin ur relationship then it wasn't a relationship-srry to say but its true. and of course he's gonna talk to girls in his school whether ur relationship is good or not, as long as its just talking to them about casual stuff. and well for the ups and downs ur relationship has been having, then i think it will affect ur relationship, your being grounded that is, but no one know's how, try to sneak a phone call of 2 minutes if u can to call him like once in a while and let him know ur grounded and that u care about him and that it shows just by u calling him while ur grounded-but if u can't every day dont worry i dont mean for u to call him every day just once in a while

hey, if he really likes you he wont dump u or what eva.And u should ask a friend at school of you can txt him while ur at school on there cells so u can still keep in touch realy well with just a couple txts a day :) ( and you should tell your parents your a lil 2 old 4 being grounded now, im 17 and i live in my own house with my bf)

If he loses interest in 2 weeks, then he wasn't really your man in the first place...Plus your a teen so I'm sure you can find ways to sneak and call him.

if he really likes u, he wont loose intrerest in u. and if he dose brake up with u, dont make a big deal bout it, it wont be yr fult, dont worrie bout it, brush it off. it would be his loss
