Angela, that is so cool you are going there. I went to Can Cun in the summer and I had a great time. By the way, American tourist just thrashed the whole town and I didnt hear any locals say anything bad about them. Well anyways that s a different story.

Look at your questions--some are delusional. As far as the lies-maybe a misunderstanding. Why the uproar? Are you from El Paso? Or are you someones body guard?
Trying to deceive is pretty bad in my book. But than tell me--you knew people when you came on--how is that possible? I suggest some should follow your posts and questions from the beginning. Seems fishy. Very fishy!

angelay--we have gone through this before---El Paso uses a lot in State money for other benefits--which your county doesn't cover. I know I worked for State Benefits. Your town uses more than taxes cover. Your taxes covers some-but not all. And the State had to borrow from other States to cover government benefit programs (Aid-housing-SS SSD- Food stamps-health ect.) And El Paso costs were very high (the highest in State). You have many low income people who need help. Your taxes can't cover it all -it comes from State. Your State had to borrow from others. It is nice your local government pay for law--everyone else picks up the sack in other things. To others El Paso is a thorn in the side. It is sucking State Benefits dry. I know poor need help-I understand that---but it hurts other poor elsewhere. Please expand your thoughts beyond El Paso-and look at what it is costing America. If you want the Stats on that-you will have to look it up-I am past that now. You have a corrupt local government who takes advantage of others-good for El Paso-bad for everyone else.

Hadenough.....We, the tax payers pay for the police service in our own city....We make that a priority in our city and it has served us very well.....NOT THE STATE OF TEXAS.....Trust me, I have my property taxes to prove it, you wanna see them? The truth is El Paso gets very little money from Austin, we don't vote republican in this town so the state relatively ignores us when it comes to funding, get your facts straight moron!
