I'm in the process of dying it black and red. I have to rinse in 10 minuites. I've gone with Loreal Feria Black Leather with Manic Panic Wildfire underneath.
This is a big change for me considering I normally have pink streaks.

I personally cant stand Manic Panic, but I'm not at home and am far away from the beauity supply store that sells "Dixon Fantasy colour products". Manic Panic is the only thing available at the local drugstore unfortunately.

Professionals are way to expensive.
And very few salons in my area do interesting colours.

It sounds pretty. I'm sure it will come out looking great and up to date w/ the hair styles and all.

I have dyed my hair:

Purple
Green
Blue
Pink
Red
Ronald McDonal Red
Burgandy
Black
Copper
Bleached it Blonde
Platinum Blonde
Orange
Etc. Etc.

Believe it or not, I don't dye my hair anymore. I just went through a phase of dying my hair back in 6th grade through early college.

I've done every color you can think of and Manic Panic is horrible. I would say if you can travel or look for a sally beauty supply somewhere by where you live there you will find the interesting colors with more options. These days I stick with feria.

It is hard to dye over Feria it is a bad hair color that never stop processing most salon will not touch anyone hair that has feria it.
If you try do color over it you hair will change many different color and most of the time when you go and rinse the hair the color will wash right back out and not cover over Freia. Don't go and have bleach or a perm your her will broke off at the scalp. Believe me I have seen it happen. Just let it grow out. Good Luck!!!!!!!!

I've dyed my hair:

Red
Orange
Green
Blue
Pink
Purple
Black
Blonde

I used Manic Panic but it just doesn't stay in the hair that long. If you have Sally's Beauty Supply where you are at, ask the worker for great brands to choose from the next time you dye your hair.

God I miss having my hair colored wild. Ahh well.. yeah gotta do what ya gotta do in the corporate world

Wow!! I just dyed mine to get rid of the gray. It's blond and always has been but when I started dying it, I went a few shades lighter for the fun of it. I usually use L'oreal of some kind with some exceptions when I have a really good coupon. I'm afraid I will stay with the mild stuff though, nothing not grown in hair in God's rainbow. Having different shades of blond when I dye my hair gives me natural highlights too. Thanks for asking and good luck!!

I got two big highlights once. They were like hot pink/red. Then they turned blonde. Biggest mistake of my life because they basically bleached my hair. Eugh. But black and red must look nice!

I've dyed my hair black, brown, and blond. I like Revlon Color Silk the best because it doesn't use ammonia and is cheaper than the other ones.
