get a 2cm rubber ball, clench it in your buttocks, hold firmly as long as you are able
don't laugh, try it without and feel your stomach muscles pull
if you have a ball there you can 'hold' it longer

Half-crunches. You only go halfway up, so they only tone your lower abs. I think.
