Right on!
This has got to be one of the most ridiculous bumper stickers ever. I saw it written on a guy's back windshield and got disgusted.
At least someone else out there has got some sense. There is no verse in the bible that says Jesus is God. There are hundreds of verses that say Jesus is the Son of God - like:
But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name - John 20:31
(Which happens to be the same book many trinitarians use to try to prove he is God. Maybe they should read the whole book before trying to misuse the scriptures). Look - if John 20:31 says "But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name" then that's what it means. It doesn't mean that you might believe that Jesus is the Christ - God.
God bless you!

I agree with you 100 %.
I do not mind people having their belief in religion one way or another. But it grates my grits when opinions are pushed down my throat.
This religion is right! They are wrong!!!
It's because God wills it.
This religion or that religion is for heathens. (Heathen?)
As for the bible? Please read the following it may open a few eyes if read with an open uncontrolled mind.
Isaiah
8: 1-3
Remember when a woman conceived it was written as Abraham went into Rachel. But here it is written that Isaiah went unto her, meaning he visited her not married or had intercourse.
Now go on to 8:8
Finally Isaiah 9:2 Though They walk in the shadow (valley) of death.
9:6-7
The bible has been written and rewritten as to what the Pope and monks of the time thought would serve the church's views. Not the truth.
As for the stickers? Well think of this;
Pharisee: A member of a strict Jewish sect. holding the Mosaic Law and their own traditions as binding did not exist until thirty years after the prophet known as Jesus Christ was executed.
They were not known until 30 years After the death of Jesus and yet this same order was given the damnation for orchestrating the Crucifixion?

Technically, Jesus is the Son of God. but many Christians believe him to be God Incarnate, and therefore God.
I agree with this somewhat...however, I also believe that everyone is God and that the divine is within everyone. so I don't revere Jesus as my savior, I just celebrate him for the amazing life of service and love he lived, and I believe everyone (that believes God/the divine is within them) is able to live as Jesus did and serve and love.
I also think that Christianity is straying from what it's supposed to be based on: Jesus. Jesus was such a lover and a liberal and dare I say socialist. sadly, the Christian stereotype (Christians, I mean not to offend you, hence my use of 'stereotype') is condescending to other religions, hateful to 'sinners' and conservative. if they were truly living as Jesus did, this would not be the case. (again for clarification this is a STEREOTYPE of Christians. I do not believe that all Christians are this way, and I know quite a few who are loving and liberal, it just seems the ones that get the most recognition are the above mentioned)
just some things to ponder...

You are thinking in natural terms when you say son of God. Son of God in the Bible means Jesus is the Spirit of God with a physical body. Jesus is Fully God and not some three part trinity God like some claim. Jesus is the Manifestation of God's Holy Spirit with a physical body which equals God

Jesus made the claim that He is God. He applied the name of God, "I AM," to Himself in several passages. Here's a few examples: Matthew 14:27, Mark 6:50, Mark 13:6, Luke 21:8, John 4:26, John 6:20, John 8:24, 28, 58, and John 13:19. (Some English translations have mistranslated these verses for the sake of clarity, by changing the words from "I am" to "It is I," or "I am He.") There are several others I have not listed.
Jesus also received worship:
"Then the men in the boat began to worship Jesus, saying, "You certainly are the Son of God!" (Matthew 14:33)
"Suddenly Jesus met them and said, "Greetings!" They went up to him, took hold of his feet, and worshiped him." (Matthew 28:9)
"They worshiped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy." (Luke 24:52)
"He said, "Lord, I do believe," and worshiped him." (John 9:38)
"I heard every creature in heaven, on earth, under the earth, and on the sea, and everything that is in them, saying, "To the one who sits on the throne and to the lamb be praise, honor, glory, and power forever and ever!" Then the four living creatures said, "Amen!", and the elders bowed down and worshiped." (Revelation 5:13-14)

Jesus is the son of God, after his death he rose from the grave and the father gave him all the father has, so he is now also a God. Some religions also believe that God and Jesus are one but the bible does not support this as the father spoke at his baptism and the holy ghost came to him in a dove.

I haven't seen that one, that would grate on my nerves as well. Well, I suppose since Jesus is the son of God that makes him God too, if you believe in Jesus.
I never got into the Bible, even when I was a kid. It was written by men, years afer Jesus was dead. I don't take a lot of stock in the written word. The people who slap those bumper stickers on their cars believe the Bible word for word. Not the sharpest knives in the drawer.
At least the Bible doesn't tell you to kill Jews or people of other religions like the Quoran does.
