man, a burger and fries sounds really good right now. anyway, it seems like everyone has been saying stuff like you are a jerk and you don't own her and stuff like that. Not me, my answer will be uinique, and in an effort to get the 10 points I will give you three things that nobody else has given you in their answers.
1. an answer agreeing with you; here goes
I think you are completely right especially because it is in her best interests not to eat the burger and fries, its like if you were a smoker and she wanted to start but you said no its bad for her, its the gentelmanly thing to do.
2. I will also let you know the secret of life (disclaimer: may not be the actual secret of life.)
If at any point in your life you ate more then 10 hotdogs at a single baseball game, then your life was a success and you will go to heaven.
3. I will make you laugh out loud (if I haven't already)
Proudly showing off his new apartment to a couple of his friends late one night the drunk led the way to his bedroom where there was a big brass gong.
"What's that big brass gong for?" one of the guests asked. "It's not a gong. It's a talking clock" the drunk replied. A talking clock? Seriously?" asked his astonished friend. "Yup" replied the drunk. "How's it work?" the second guest asked, squinting at it.
"Watch" the man said. He picked up a hammer, gave it an ear shattering pound and stepped back. The three stood looking at one another for a moment. Suddenly, someone on the other side of the wall screamed "YOU F*CK ING AS*HOLE....IT'S TEN PAST THREE IN THE MORNING!"
if that didn't work here is one video clip that is sure to work http://i-am-bored.com/bored_link.cfm?link_id=19261
I put a lot of work into that answer, and I deserve not only the 10 points, but you should use the money that you saved by not buying your girlfriend a burger and fries, to send me some; as I already said, "man, a burger and fries sounds really good right now."

Yes, you are wrong.
You don't "LET" a human being do something like you are in control!!! First, you took her to McDonalds. There is nothing healthy there. Second, you are a hypocrite for ordering something and telling her she shouldn't. IN GENERAL, guys have higher metabolisms than girls, but not always. Maybe she has a high metabolism if she has a nice figure already and still eats McDonalds. I eat almost twice as much as my boyfriend, I'm 5'9" and weigh 120 pounds. I'm thinking that's pretty good. He's over 6 feet tall. PMS has nothing to do with you being a jerk. If it was PMS, then that means you really got what you deserved. You will be lucky if she even lets you take her to Olive Garden for her birthday. In fact, you will be lucky if she lets you spend time with her at all much longer. Girls are not property and cannot be told what to do. If that's what you believe, then you are in for a long and lonely life.

TOTALLY! Don't comment on a women's figure if there isn't anything wrong with it. And if you plan on her having your kids, she won't be your "barbie" forever. That was a fairly insensitive thing to say. Besides; burger and fries are okay every once in a while... If it is a constant thing than she will gain wieght. And about men having faster metabolisms; not true. I have one of the fastest metabolisms ever! I could eat anything I want and still be okay. But what you said and did for your girlfriend wasn't very nice. I am sure it didn't make her feel very good and blaming it on PMS is waaay immature. If you don't her to consume a lot of fast food don't go to places like McDonalds.

You are completely wrong!
She is not your possession. She can eat whatever she wants to eat. You cannot demand that she stay fit and I can tell you- telling a girl she can't eat something is just wrong. It is NOT your decision. You can encourage her to stay healthy and fit. And I'm guessing if she is already fit than a burger and fries will not hurt her. If you have such a problem with this perhaps you should take her somewhere BETTER than Mcdonalds.
If she were your daughter I would say you had more of a right (until she was 18). Because as a parent it is your job to teach her how to eat properly.
You are a jerk for what you did. If you keep up that attitude I wouldn't doubt she would leave you soon.

How would you feel if she told you what you can and can not eat? You are waaaay too controlling. If you loved her, you would still love her even if she did gain weight, but one burger isn't going to do that. She should be able to order whatever she wants. You need to take her to Olive Garden for her birthday, be ashamed of thinking about taking her to McDonalds!!! Her friends are right, you are a jerk in that instance anyway and if you treat her like that all the time hopefully she will wise up and find someone who will treat her better.

That metabolism of yours will slow down and then will she still want you?
The reality is no matter what you eat or don't eat someday your body will change... and so will hers and if that is enough for you to not love her anymore, she needs kick your sad behind to the curb and find herself a man that can love her ... really love her not just a physical relationship that will end the minute you see how hard it is to loose post pregnancy weight, some one who sees the real beauty and character the things that can get hidden, by worry lines and stretch marks, but will never ever fade or go away

Yeah dude, your a jerk. And this is from a guy. I do understand what your saying and all and men and women are built diffrent but you can't say you can't eat that cause you'll get fat. If you truely love her you'll love her even if she does get fat. And if you do think its a problem for her * you eating qp's isn't good either* then suggest joining a gym or doing something along those lines so not only are you keeping in shape but keeping her in shape as well.

Yes Yes Yes your were wrong times 2500. The cardinal sin in a relationship is being honest about your girlfriends weight or commenting on your girls weight. Don't ever ever ever ever do it.
Commenting on your girls weight will result in a life time of her being sarcastic when you guys go to eat, no a** for a long time and a cheap shot to your manhood. Um don't ever tell a women what to eat, and if you do, don't say because your a guy and you can gain weight that is soooooooo stupid. You just don't do it.
A guy talking or mention to his girl about food or a weight issue, is equal to a girl talking about her boyfriends penis size to him. You just don't do it. Men are not allowed to talk about their girlfriends weight, just as us girls are not allowed to talk about their boyfriends penises.

You are the biggest as@#le, in the world! Obviously, if your gf is trim, she knows what to eat to stay that way. If she wanted to eat a QP w/cheese she should have. She is a big girl and you are a shallow, controlling jerk. I hope she dumps you.
