It's more like self preservation since the Christian right wants to turn this country into a Christian version of Iran

I'm not at all opposed to a logical debate, but I do dislike being called names. I've been on this for a couple of months now and I can tell you that there are many more insults being said to Christians than to any other group. Why call us stupid because we have a strong faith in God? Why call us ignorant when we provide logical responses to the questions asked us?
A good friend of mine always says, when they run out of good arguments, they start name-calling. And name-calling is harrassment, isn't it? Questioning is one thing, name-calling is something else.

As a Christian in this forum I don't feel I'm being harassed. I've questioned a lot of people's beliefs but I don't think I'm harassing them.
Shouldn't everyone know what they believe, why they believe it , and know how to defend it? How would we ever do that without being questioned.
Bring it on I say.

Is the purpose of the question to gain understanding and knowledge or simply to provoke and taunt? That is the difference. As a Christian, I am happy to answer any sincere question, even if it means doing a little extra homework, but if the question is intended to provoke a fight that is harassment and really not worth dignifying by anyone of any faith.

Whatever gave you that idea? Christians being harrassed in this forum? I don't think so! Questioning someone's faith can not be considered as harrassement. Mormons knocking on your doorstep is more like it.

If someone who isn't christian has a serious question as to why a belief is what it is than it shouldn't be that big of a deal to just answer. If they're asking just to mock another persons faith then that is wrong.

To merely question another's beliefs is not, in itself, harassment. Insults, name-calling & abusive or demeaning comments are obvious harassment. People who resort to this actually say more about themselves than they do about the people they insult.

Why do you ask don?
If you are a Christian and you question their belief they accuse you of losing your faith and you are ostracised since they have no answers because they accept a mystery that is total rubbish and would not know how to handle examination of what they say they believe, with their mouths, because their hearts are never in it.
They simply have no heart and no soul. It took two Jewish Thieves Jesus to steal their souls and hand them over to Satan.
If you can say you worship a crucified saviour, you dont have a clue what crucifixion is.

Not at all. To question is to learn more about.
But, when comments are being made in which degrade the belief, then that is harrassment.
I love answering questions regarding my faith, though I do not believe in forcing my beliefs on anyone.

I do not feel harassed by questions, it gives me an opportunity to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Calling people nasty names just to make yourself feel good is harassment.

Lets see the positive side of it the more you ask the more answers you get and the more you understand the religion better because you come to know others point of views,,,,,,,,,,,,only the answers should not be stupid but informative and a healthy input for your thoughts
