The world has always denied God's existence even from the beginning. Evil is what is happening to the world. God's Judgment is getting ready to fall. The earth will be burned up leaving few survivors. Isaiah 24; Revelation Athiesm is an intellectual game sinners play to attempt to justify their evil behavior. This losing game has eternal destruction consequences.

I'm an Tibetan Buddhist, I know there is no way to prove the existence of God, but that doesn't mean God doesn't exist for monotheists. In Buddhism, it's not necessary to believe in a God.

No, I don't believe in God. As an implict atheist, I don't think anyone has certain answers one way or the other though.
As for more atheists, that is just probably from improved educational systems (in places that are not America).
Say what you will, but we all know that more education correlates with higher atheism rates.

Technology & Science & Medicine
It convinces people we know everything.
When actually, we know very little.
And everything we prove through science changes in 10 years.
And we sure as hell can't fix any human with modern prescriptions. They only make everyone sicker.
Man can't cure itself with chemicals. We can only cure ourself from what God gave us, the earth. He put everything here that we need to be healed, you just gotta look for it.
p.s. If you athiests lived in the world, with no technology, hunting for your food and living in a tent. Creating everything from the elements with nothing man made except what you made, then you would find God really quickly. Because then you would start noticing the things that television and ps2 has allowed for you to miss. You would also find that there are bad things that go bump in the night. And you would need protection. And you would find it in God.

for definations of god as such:
I was told by a Christian:
We must worship God
But since we are impure, we cannot worship God directly so we should worship Jesus instead
But then later on he says Jesus is God.
Wow! Rewind please
Let’s review, he said we must worship God, but we cannot worship him directly so we should worship Jesus but later on he said Jesus is God.
So what does it mean?
We cannot worship Jesus as well because he is God and God cannot be worshiped directly.
But since we see that people do worship Jesus, concluding (according to Christian views) that Jesus must not be God as he is worshipped directly.

You make that sound like a bad thing.
It's a choice everyone has to make for themselves.
Just as you choose to believe in a "higher power", we choose to believe that there is no higher power.
