There is a general tendency to place power in objects, rather than realize the power lies in ourselves. The board is a way to focus energy, use mind to communicate with those who are no longer focused in physicality.
Many people are terrified of such things as Ouija Boards, because of their religious training, their beliefs in devils. Such belief will produce images that correspond to the belief, but if the belief does not match truth, then the images have no true power, and no harm can come. In truth, harm is impossible, for we remain as created, in perfect peace, and infinite creativity, and love.

It's considered to be a game. When it first came out, it was considered to be a hoax because when the word "Ouija" is dissected in half, "Oui" is French for "yes," and "ja" is German for "yes." That's why many people didn't take it seriously, and that;s why it's mainly a game.

Ok, I'm a skeptic, trust me. But when I was younger (and stupid), I played it a few times...and let's just say it was rather scary. We "channeled" different "types" of spirits, and each one acted differently. Different personalities, I guess....look, I wouldn't believe it, if I hadn't done it. But whatever we were talking to, it wasn't good. It suprises me that it is made by such an inocuous group like "Parker Brothers", but there is power in it, trust me.
My advice, stay away.

Totally real.................just watch out or you could bring back some totally demented person in your life and you will never get rid of him ~ his evil spirit will go inside your body and make you do crazy things that you have only thought about doing but were to scared to!

I think they are real because of an experience I had in boarding school years ago. I really was freaked out and havent messed with one since! Scared the hell out of us.

The movement of the planchette is not due to paranormal forces but to unnoticeable movements by those controlling the pointer, known as the ideomotor effect. The same kind of unnoticeable movement is at work in dowsing.
