4 months is not that long a time in the grand scheme of things. If you both want to continue this relationship, this is definitely the time to be able to do this. Think of it: there's email, IM, voice chat, telephones, text messaging...tons of ways to keep in touch and you know what? Talking, just talking in print and on the phone, you get to know that person really well. I know, I had a long distance relationship for several months.

My son got married end of May and his wife had to go back to another state recently to finish school until Christmas.They are commited and before this they were just dating and in different states,so it is all in your commitment to each other...
P.S she will also join the army after she graduates,hope they find that special time when they can actually know it is their time ..
