I have seen a few fleas on the new babies and I know they are too young...but was not sure if the momma can be treated

oh and by the way to someone who sent me the nasty reply...I treat all of my cats, and it is my choice to have a litter of kittens. I only asked because they are treated and seen one 1 that is on one of the kittens. It was just a question, no need to get rude with me on how or why. I only wanted to know if I could still treat her since it is time again ...you know every 3 months. and I wanted to do the right thing. gesh..

Momma should be alright with it. The kittens usually don't lick mom, it's the other way around so you should be alright. Try not to do it too often though. Unfortunately fleas love young blood..the younger the animal, the more they are attracted to them. You might talk to PetSmart or some such personnel and see if they have any suggestions to a powder or natural something you can put in the bed for the babies. You won't get rid of them until you find something to keep them away from the kittens. Good luck!!

hi ure best bet is to go to the vets. they will have something for the kittens u can use. im not sure where u are. make they get done as they could die from flea animema. ( that means where the fleas suck the kittens blood dry ) sorry if i sound yuk.

Why is your cat having kittens when the cat isn't being properly cared for. FLEAS? My cats have NEVER had fleas, and they are fixed so they don't have a bunch of kittens that are hard to give away, even free.

You can treat them all with a bath with lemon joy. The fleas don't like it for some reason.

Be sure to treat the bedding also.
