GOD WILL NEVER SAY A THING LIKE THAT.HOW CAN ONE ATTRIBUTE SUCH A SAYING TO THE ALL KNOWING ALL SEEING GOD.

Forget that Trinity garbage, the truth is Godhead, this term is used in the bible quite often. When God said this he was talking about the three members of the Godhead. God the Father (Elohiem), God the Son (Jehovah), and God the Testifier (Holy Ghost). These three make up the Godhead.
The Trinity is a belief that says that God suffers from Multiple Personality Disorder.

1. God is God... 2. Jesus is God... 3. The Holy Spirit is God.1+2=3 3= Us. All three were present when Adam and Eve disobeyed the command not to eat the fruit from the tree that was forbidden.

The term for God in the Hebrew here is "Elohim" the plural form. It is speaking of the trinity. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit were all active and participated in creation.

That was not (Hebrew for God) "El" talking that was (also Hebrew)"Eloheim" talking that's the word which is used for God in the plural,Father ,Son, Holy Spirit.John says "In the begining was the Word (Jesus) and the Word was with God, and the Word WAS God.The same was in the begining with God.See the Cults try to say that either Jesus was an angel ,or Jesus was a Mormon who attained Godhood by following the Mormon code,But the Bible spells it out clearly.That's why Paul could say in Philipians 2:6 (speaking of Jesus)"Who being in the form of God ,thought it not robbery to be equal with God:but made himself of no reputation,and took on the form of a servant,and was made in the likeness of men".
So God was always 1x1x1=1 God,not like the Cults who say 1+1+1= 3 Gods. Get it?

This was said of the LORD to Adam and Eve prior to casting them out of the Garden of Eden for taking of the forbidden fruit.
Ask your Pastor or Minister in the Church who has studied Theology and understand the language used by our GOD.
He'll break it down for you...plus, you have to read from the beginning because starting in Chapter 3 and reading through instead of starting at Chapter 1 the beginning is like walking in on the tale end of a conversation., and trying to join in not knowing what the conversation is about..

Because, before the people ate the fruit, they don't know what's the true or false things, so, after they ate it, they became like GOD, know wheter it is right or wrong
