Ok her's the deal I have this stuffed animal that is a koala and a female chihuahua maltese about the same size. My dog humps the koala from time to time when she thinks no one is looking(but unfortunatley for her and myself, I see it). Everyone says that it is an act of dominance, but it's a stuffed koala for Heaven's sake!!! what do you have to say aabout this?

It is true, it's an act of dominancy. My Pom does once in a while now but when he was younger, he REALLY made my stuffed panda VERY happy daily. Dogs will do it to other dogs, male or female, to prove their dominancy over the other dog unless there is actually a female in heat...then it's the real thing and will kill any other male around at the time. Good question!!

The dog wants the stuffed Koala. I'd tell the dog to go for it. Pretty horny dog.

Yes, you were told correct. It is a sign of dominance and being that the toy is of the same size and your dog being female she is trying to show who is boss.

oh well, i guess u gotta let go of the toy. if doggie wants it, then it seems to me that it should have it. let it be, dogs are dogs.
