This is the first time in my life I was stung by a wasp. It happened several hours ago, but still stings like a SOAB right now. Any suggestions for pain relief?

Ice, then use an anti-itch cream or aloe vera. Sorry that happened! Be well!

You might also want to take some Benodryl as the sting could also cause a histamine reaction. Advil for the swelling and pain.

PS: Wasps dont leave stingers as bees do.

Sounds like you still have the stinger stuck in you. My mom always would get a sharp knife and with the knife on an angle ( not to cut yourself) she would press down right beside thebite where the stinger is( it looks a bit like a sliver) and the stinger would pop out. Give that a try or get a magnifing glass and a pair of tweezers. good luck
