my dog is almost a year and a half now, normally she'll go outside to pee but insists on pooping in the living room. We've tried everything from "no" sprays to re-arranging te livingroom and putting puppy pads down. [She avoids the puppy pads]. We've found no certain area she goes in, its just always in the corners or under the table, or behind the chair, like she knows its wrong and is trying to hide it.
My aunt has gone with beating her, which I find could be seriously harmful knowing my dogs only 20lbs, and my aunt doesn't know her own strength.
I need solutions quick, please?

Hitting makes it worse. Any attention is better than none and dogs respond to anything you do.
After naps, eating and being left alone, take the dog outside and stay out with her. Say "go potty" over and over until she goes. Praise her like crazy and go into the house. No playing. She needs to learn the difference between potty time and play time. She will eventually learn to go on command so you won't have to wait for her or guess when she has to go.
If you catch her going, and ONLY if you catch her, shout, "no, bad dog", grab her and take her outside. Praise her even if nothing else comes out. Go back in the house, again no playing.
Consider keeping her on a leash and tied to you (or your aunt) all the time for a while. That way she can't get into her "spots" and out of reach. You can also watch her closely and correct her immediately.
Good Luck

My experience has been:
A dog will not go where they have to eat and sleep.

so, Get yourself a dog carrier; large enough for your dog of course. After the dog wakes up take it outside to where you want it to go. Whatever it does, pees or poops, praise praise praise. Make a really big deal. Dogs like the attention. After the dog eats, again take it outside. When it goes, again, praise praise praise. The more exaggerated the praise the better. Make a fool of yourself. At all other times, except when giving it attention, leave the dog in the carrier. This is called crating. It is an approved and acceptable way to train dogs having various behavior problems. Keep it up for as long as needed. Stop when you have success. Leave the carrier available to the dog because it often becomes a place of safety for it. However, do not hit the dog. But when the dog does have an accident, treat it as though you are the parent dog and it is the puppy. Mother dogs growl, snarl and snap at the offending party. Be strong and persevere.

Don't let the dog out of your sight. Close off doors to everywhere but the living room if you can. Put a leash or a rope on the dogs collar so it can't run or hide under the bed from you. Follow it and then when you catch it sniffing around for a spot, circling or pooping SCREAM A SUDDEN EAR PIERCING UNHOLY SCREAM at the dog, grab it by it's leash and send it outside. Watch it outside. Tell it "Do your business". When it does it's business in the grass, praise the dog up and down to no end. Your dog should learn pretty quick.

Crate education is incredibly coaching the dogs to sit down down, lay or sleep quietly of their crate. It has no relation to bathroom education in any way. A dogs won't prefer to bathroom the place it lives. you are able to desire to take her out each and every 2 hours at this element, as properly as after each and every meal, play time and sleep. consistently supply her a command you would be utilising for toileting, which incorporate "go Hurry Up" while she's outdoors. compliment like loopy while she is going. stay available, repeating the command each and every 10-20 seconds, until she does 'the two the deeds'. If she lavatories contained in the abode as quickly as she's are available in from outdoors, take her outdoors for 2 minutes, and then wait interior along with her for 15 seconds, then take her decrease back out back. *Day-um...I consistently supply the go Hurry Up command for the duration of bathroom education. It does not could desire to be mentioned distinctive cases, yet i stumbled on it greater useful with my dogs. you are able to say it as quickly as, two times or purely while the dogs lavatories. see you later as you remember the compliment on the top.*

sometimes it can be the ground itself. Our friends dog only would poop on cement or any hard surface and it took time to get him out of this. I don't know if this is an issue or not but something to think about.

When the dog does this, take her out and tie her to something for about 30 minutes like a time out and put the poo near. Use key words always.
NO and Poo Poo OUTSIDE.
Its helping me with mine. Shes around 10 mos old and she does not like to be tied outside.
