Take it from this nurse. Ibuprofen taken as only needed as it states on the bottle is safe but if you take to much of it as well as any other medications you will not only harm your liver but also your kidneys and other organs. Take all medication only as recommended on the bottle.

I know if ibuprofen is taken in large doses renal impairment could occur. The same is true for the liver as it might not be able to metabolise ibuprofen fast enough. The best thing to do is follow the dosage that's recommended by your physician.

Maybe. I know the Doctor say to always eat something before taking ibuprofen as it will damage your Stomach.

possibly with excessive use - check the warning label. Before I had my gallbladder out, I was taking 3-4 at a time, about 3-4 times a day, and my doctor told me to change to tylenol or to alternate with tylenol and aspirin, because I could damage my liver. I believe him, no reason not to.

Yes if taking in large amount.There not much pills that won't affect the liver
