Here is my recipe for Amaretto fruit salad
add peaches ,apricots, plums ,oranges ,bananas, grapes red and green, and watermelon.
Cube the water melon in bite sized pieces, and add about 1/4 cup of Bacardi white rum.

Cube or dice the rest if the fruit into a seperate bowl.
after about 1 hour you will have a nice water melon rum mix in you watermelon, add rest of fruit, and add 1-2 cups of Amaretto.refrigerate overnight.be sure to try to mix it frequently,to allow all fruit to coat evenly.in th emorning you have a nice thick amaretto fruit syrup, whick is also great on icecream.

GRAND FRUIT SALAD

Here's a colorful and delicious addition to a brunch menu. It also makes a lovely light dessert on its own.

2 cups green grapes
2 cups sliced strawberries
2 cups sliced plums
1 cup sliced peaches
1 cup orange segments
1 cup sliced peeled kiwi
1/2 cup Grand Marnier or other orange liqueur
1/2 cup orange juice
2 tablespoons sugar
Combine all ingredients in large bowl. Cover and refrigerate up to 8 hours.

Serves 8.

That sounds really good. Not quite on the same level as my recipe! I use whatever canned fruit I happen to have, drain the juice into a bowl and add some instant vanilla pudding and mix to thicken. Then I add the fruit and chill. It's more of a dessert than a salad but my kids will eat it.

Thanks for your recipe!

Well, thanks for your receipe.

I would leave out the rum and Amaretto - really, who wants booze in fruit .. you buy a mixed drink that has fruit. Booze is only good to tenderize meat, and really, not very much is needed.

I would use your fruits, throw in some minature marshmellows, add cherries, 1/4 c sour cream with walnuts, mix that up,and then put some whipped cream over that, or fold it in.
