Who Hates Goths?

Not me...I love them. I love that they can be different and be themselves and not worry about other people who don't understand them saying that they are weird.

I don't hate them. Hate is too strong a word.

I agree that they're weird, but I think that's the point of being a goth - embracing weirdness. They don't want to be the same as everyone else. The sad thing is that when gothness became popular it just sort of lost its initial foundation, its meant to be anti-popular and anti-social, against society, and people took it as a fashion statement instead and it became popular. There is a difference between goth fashion and actual goth-ness which people confused.

But I don't like the dark make-up, the angstiness and morbid stuff that are some of the characteristics of SOME goths...

I try to not make blanket judgements, but rather get to know the person.

Yes, I have met some weird Goths, but overall, my experiences with them have been positive. And that's coming from a 38-year-old woman who looks like a soccer mom until you get up close and start noticing the pierced nose and the tattoos.

In general, I have found it is a lot easier to take people on a case by case basis than to just simply dismiss or include them on my list of potential friends by how they dress or what they think or what music they listen to. If there's interesting content beneath the packaging, count me in!

did u know..goth is NOT a style...its a attitude..u can dress up in a pink bunny suit and still be goth...yep yep yep
the style is just that...a style...although, just about ALL goths sport the style...oh well

It would take a lot more than that to make me hate someone, because that's a pretty strong emotion! Goth or not, you'd still have to cross me in order for me to hate you!

ok i was a goth and we are normal like everyone else with different views. your the weirdo!!! i think goths are great and they can be smart, fun and funny. you should get to know them before you go and judge anyone. you wouldn't like that done to you.....

Jus cuz u think their wierd doesnt mean u have to hate them. Gosh. Hate is such a friggin harsh word these days. And u shouldnt judge them, cuz thats wat ur doin. At least get to know them. U never know, they might be really interesting ppl, and not jus bcuz the way they dress.

So no, i dont hate goths.

I don't know any personally. I don't hate anyone I don't know. There was a few that came into a store I used to work at and they were really nice to me, so I won't judge them because they aren't like me.
