Ok this is kinda a sticky situation. A guy I like has been homeschooled his whole life, and he is like a guy from the 50's! He's really respectful, and hangs out with his family all the time, never swears... etc.. Anyone see 'Blast from the Past' with Brandon Frasier? Well he is like EXACTLY like that guy. Anyway, he has always been really flirty with me, but we don't see eachother that often, it's mainly Myspace stuff. He has never done anything with a girl (he told me) and he tells me he would rather be friends for life than together for a month. Does anybody else know another 16 year old guy like that!!! He invites me to his hockey games, his family loves me, and we went on ONE date. What do I do!!! If he would take some action, he would be a great bf. Will this ever happen?

You have a real winner there, but the problem is you appear to not recognize it. In todays world, the most decent people and the best ones to go out with are regarded as weird.

He would be a great boyfriend in his present condition, but you want him to be like the sea-of-all-alike losers. To be honest, this sort of borders on being rotten on your part, in my opinion.

How is a respectable young man supposed to win? And then you'll find some total jerk and come back on here for advice about him?

I thought that brandon Frasier was very cute in that movie, he seems like a great guy, and someone who will be real with you. Meaning he wont cheat on you, or ever do anything to hurt you. I think you should stay with him. Good Luck!

ok honey, you are still young and havent been through a lot of the emotional crap that most men put us through.....I had to learn the hard way to like the nice guy....years and years of misery, being lied to, deceived and cheated on got me to the point where I will only be with the nice guy.

You are young and he sounds Wonderful! If you feel good when you are with him, he is respectful and kind to you, than you should be happy and proud to be with someone who will care for you....not treat you as a trophy and use you. Give him the same respect he gives you.....Good luck!

He has'nt been socialized. And that's probably the way that his folks wanted it.Considering how our society is today. And believe it or not ,that's a good thing. If you It give some time. Things will develop. Right now he's just bashful and does'nt know how to approach you as a girlfriend.

honey he is a good guy. do what ever it takes to be his gf. he seems like the man of any girls dreams, so stay hanging around him and try to be his gf. also, he plays hockey, wow i love hockey. keep that guy around as long as you can. even if its just friends, because he has to like you if he invites you to go places. just tell him you want to see more of him.

don't talk about personal things on myspace. it ruins a real relationship and makes it artificial. he sounds cute and i'm sure he is a great guy, just spend more time with HIM and not on the computer ...
